- I had this error when QWS3270 was the first winsock app to run.
- Try opening tcpman.exe first or open another winsock app first.

- This probably has more to do with a bottleneck along the path to host
- your transfering files from or the remote host itself that Hgopher.
- It does seem to be slower that mosaic or ws_ftp but not that slow.
- That's almost as slow as a 19.2K link.
